The Uber or Airbnb of <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">anything. \u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">They&#8217;ve never built a single website, rarely done any sales in their life and they think that their single idea is going to change the world.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">99% of business is in execution. It\u2019s not about your product OR idea. 99% of business is in implementation. That means doing it! That means building websites from ground up, running traffic to it, getting leads, following up and then pitching them a price or product in exchange for cash.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s not playing around with pitch decks, coming up with the next \u2018Uber\u2019 of anything or writing your next business proposal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of the biggest mistakes was to start a dating consulting company thinking that all my client wanted to hear about was my smartness about human psychology. That\u2019s because that\u2019s what <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I cared abou<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">t. It wasn\u2019t what my customers cared about. They cared about getting dates! not my course curriculum!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are in business, realize that you are not in the dating advice business. You are not in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digital-web-services.com\/grow-your-website-traffic-with-best-seo-services.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SEO servic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">es<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">business. You\u2019re not in the music business. You\u2019re not in the real estate\/ financial consulting, plumbing and aircon repair business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You are in the sales and marketing business. Period!<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"2_The_Sales_Person_Turned_Entrepreneur\"><\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">2) The Sales Person Turned Entrepreneur<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your first business skill set is sales, you have a much higher possibility of succeeding as an entrepreneur. However, sales itself still doesn\u2019t cut it. When you work for huge corporations that have a price point or commission on your products, you are confident in selling.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, take that huge corporate brand away from you and you\u2019re left to create a brand on your own. Can you sell it? Can you sell yourself? Take away a corporate brand that you can already leverage to sell your products, can you still do it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Can you sell when it comes down to you, your products, your vision and your services.<\/span><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I know of people that consider themselves a great salesperson. However, he has never generated a dollar out of his own products and services.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, as a <strong>digital entrepreneur<\/strong>, your concerns go beyond just sales or your commissions. It becomes a game of marketing budgets, market positioning, scaling, fulfilment, customer service, operations and many more. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019re required to juggle multiple hats.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"3_The_Raise_Money_Digital_Entrepreneur\"><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">3) The Raise Money Digital Entrepreneur<\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.digital-web-services.com\/how-to-make-money-online-work-from-home.html\">raising money entrepreneur<\/a> is highly concerned with financial projections, pitch decks and predictions on market size. (and fancy startup lingo)<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Traditionally, I am extremely against the idea of raising money before profitability. However, I\u2019m saying: pay attention to the primary concerns of the CEO\/ top management that runs the company. Is their top concern attempting to raise the next round? Is their concern making the numbers look pretty?<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I know working capital can accelerate things. This is why I am NOT 100% closed off to the idea of raising capital. The majority of businesses are built on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">working capital.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ultimately, as an investor (if I do become one), I am going to look at the ethics of the entrepreneur himself, and the way he speaks about his business and his primary concerns. There&#8217;s a huge difference between presenting fancy numbers VS maximising shareholder&#8217;s equity.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This brings me to my next point.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"4_The_Ground_Up_Digital_Entrepreneur\"><\/span><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>4) The Ground Up Digital Entrepreneur<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the years, I\u2019ve spoken to the \u2018idea entrepreneur\u2019, the &#8216;raise money entrepreneur\u2019, the salesman entrepreneur and the ground up digital entrepreneur.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The idea entrepreneur is overly concerned about his idea. The salesperson can only sell but not market. The people I enjoy working with and can resonate with the most are the ground up entrepreneurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The ground up digital entrepreneur\u2019s primary concerns are always: free cash flow, advertising budget\/ spent, lead generation, sales, closes and net profit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the information economy, you are to start low cost services such as marketing paid advertising services, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/threelittlepigs.pro\/seo-packages-singapore-pricing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SEO packages services<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.behance.net\/galleries\/ui-ux\/ui-ux\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">UX\/UI design<\/a>, etc\u2026 They are all skill sets with huge demand!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The majority of the ground up entrepreneur&#8217;s time and effort are spent generating leads, prospects and pitching them their service to get sales!
